Alfred Dupuis, 82, of Belliveau Village died Thursday at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, after a brief illness.
 Born in Beaumont, he was a son of the late Cécime and Adéline (Belliveau) Dupuis. He attended Notre-Dame de 1'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut, and was a member of the Pré-d'en-Haut Golden Age Club.
He is survived by his wife, the former Eugénie Bourgeois; a daughter, Géraldine of Belliveau Village; four sons, Léonard, Clovis and Oscar, all of Belliveau Village, and Eugène of Beaumont; six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Mélindée, Alvina and Héloise; and a brother, Edouard.
The body is at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. The funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
